golf ball sized hail

The video we watched this week talked a little about news websites featuring reader-submitted photos and videos, and it just so happens that StarTribune.com has a section for that on their website.

In the Your Photos + Video section Minnesotans can post images of local news, scenery, sports, history, and of course weather. Now anyone can be a photojournalist.

i wonder how long it'll take before those news websites are run completely by the readers themselves?

wow this is cool, but will certify journalists disappear out of the face of the Earth?

I most often really like this feature on news websites, but unfortunately, my hometown's paper the Houston Chronicle has the feature on their website and it's not very impressive. In fact, I find that readers often post poor quality photos that are not appealing to anyone but the person who posted it. Bummer.
